Helen & Grahams Lavender Hill & Mudbrick Wedding

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Helen and Graham’s beautiful, intimate wedding at the stunning Lavender Hill and Mudbrick venues on Waiheke Island.  Helen and Graham had arranged to have their main photos before their ceremony so a ‘reveal’ was in order at the the beautiful Lavender Hill grounds.  Next a trip to the Mudbrick vineyard for photos and then a chance for Helen to get sand in her toes at Little Oneroa Beach.  I have to say  that their ceremony at Mudbrick was one of the most memorable I have ever been to.  Their highly entertaining (and at times hilarious) officiant celebrated their vows with a sabrage demonstration, topping a bottle of champagne with a sabrage sword – most impressive!   They ended their day by releasing wish lanterns with family and friends.

All in all it was a beautiful day with goregous venues, happy people and a lovely, lovely couple – I love my job!!  Thank you so much for allowing me to spend your day with you Helen and Graham – I know you’ll both be blissfully happy together.

Nicole & Craig’s Gracehill Wedding

The lovely Nicole and Craig were married on 21 January 2012 at the picturesque Gracehill Vineyard Estate  in Kumeu.  After getting ready photos with the boys in Albany and the girls in Takapuna we headed off to Gracehill where Nicole and Craig exchanged vows amongst happy family and friends, along side the pretty rotunda.  After a celebratory drink or two with their friends it was time for some beautiful, fun and romantic bridal party photos.  As you can tell, the gorgeous wedding party were a lot of fun and really enjoyed the day.  After dinner and some hilarious speeches, Nicole and Craig managed to steal away for a few moments for a moonlight dance under the rotunda – so romantic!

Congratulations Nicole and Craig! Hope you enjoy this sneak peek of your day.

Thank you Nicole and Craig for sharing your beautiful day with me – it was an absolute pleasure and honour!

Claire & Sam’s Wedding Sneak Peek!

The delightful Claire and Sam were married on 20th January 2012 surrounded by happy family and friends at their family church, Church of the Saviour.  After a lovely ceremony and afternoon tea we headed off  with the bridal party for photos at the beautiful old homestead at Hebron Christian College – which just happened to be Claire’s old school!  The wedding party were a lot of fun and even broke into a group dance on the homestead’s verandah (check out the guys super hero cufflinks later in the post)! Then it was a quick drive across to the North Shore for more photos and their reception at Gengy’s.  It was a beautiful day with just the slightest touch of rain (which I’m sure is good luck!) and their guests all appeared to be having a great time!  Thank you Claire and Sam for letting me share your special day with you – I know you’ll have a long and happy life together.

Congratulations Claire and Sam!
